When asked why a community website is beneficial for Wollomombi, webmaster Martin Brown says, “A central point for communication is essential - information about community activities, wild dog attacks, pony club meets, school news and many happenings in the area needs to be available for the locals and visitors alike.”

“The Wollomombi Community website is one place for this information to be shared with all who need to keep in touch with what is going on. The Wollomombi Local Area Committee (a council based partnership) has endorsed the need for the website. All local groups are encouraged to have their news and contact details placed on the website. It is resource for all to share, help to further develop and keep relevant.”
