Upper Ferntree Gully - town with Laughter Club - launches today

Upper Ferntree Gully - Victorian town of dense forest and fern gullies - launches their community website today!

The Coonara Community House group celebrated the launch of www.upperferntreegully.vic.au today with their community.

The Coonara Community House applied to be the administrators of the domain name on behalf of the Upper Ferntree Gully community and have received funding from the Knox City Council and Bendigo bank.

Karen George says these are "Small beginnings perhaps, but beginnings all the same. This will hopefully be the start of many new connections in the Upper Ferntree Gully area through this website. The aim is to have a website that is a great representation of the area, its people, its diversity and its community spirit. "
