Torquay made its splash into the internet ocean!

The Torquay community made its splash into the internet ocean with the launch of its community website on Australia day.

The Spring Creek Community House has coordinated the website with sponsorship from Torquay Community Enterprise.

According to website coordinator Tim Kottek “www.torquay.vic.au is a one stop shop for community residents and visitors to find out what’s happening in this vibrant town.

“Funding has been obtained from Torquay Community Enterprise so that community organisations in Torquay can have a no cost presence on the net until at least December 2010” Said Mr. Kottek.

The Torquay community website includes a local news section, events calendar, community and business directory, recreation and sporting information, religious information and support services offered in the area.
