Tea Gardens and Hawks Nest communities launch unique home on the net

The Tea Gardens and Hawks Nest communities can now be viewed from anywhere in the world with the launch of their community website today.
While both communities are represented on the one website it can be accessed from both: www.teagardens.nsw.au and www.hawksnest.nsw.au.
According to website coordinator Lyn Reid “both the Tea Gardens and Hawks Nest communities are pleased to become part of the online world. We hope that these new sites will become a one-stop-shop for information for the community, local businesses and visitors to the area.
“We are very proud of both the Tea Gardens and Hawks Nest communities and look forward to showcasing all we have to offer on the World Wide Web to encourage greater tourism to the region.”
The Tea Gardens and Hawks Nest community site features anything you need to know about the communities including local news and events, recreation in the area, accommodation, real estate, transport, where to eat as well as links to emergency and government services and local council information.
Community, service groups and local businesses are all invited to forward their contact details for a free entry into the local directory and events calendar and for a small annual fee they can also have a single page to advertise their events, products and services.
