Mintaro considered the absolute jewel of the region with its many historic buildings launches its community website

Richard Lathlean from the Mintaro Progress Association said "Mintaro is the first town to be Heritage listed in South Australia, Mintaro is considered the absolute jewel of the region with its many historic buildings, including Martindale Hall, the Georgian mansion featured in the classic Australian film 'Picnic at Hanging Rock' .
