New community website helps 100 years celebrations and asks "have you left your mark at Kongorong?"
Kongorong's new community site helped kick off their 100 years celebrations by providing details of all the celebrations and a call to the community to capture the history of the town.
The community website group gathered a collection of family histories, short stories, photos and items of interest to present a history of Kongorong, for future posterity and for display at their celebrations.
The Kongorong Progress Advisory Committee hopes the new website will continue to promote the Kongorong community including Netball, Football, Progress Advisory and School links to Minutes/Agendas and events etc.
