Kangaroo Valley website becomes natural extension of local newspaper

The beautiful town of Kangaroo Valley, located on the Kangaroo River in New South Wales has launched its own community website

With breathtaking views, stunning landscapes and lush rainforests Kangaroo Valley is a popular, yet serene destination for visitors to the region. Website manager Robert Morgan says that community co-operation has always been strong in Kangaroo Valley and the website was constructed with the intention to both strengthen community spirit and become an instant source of local information for the community.
"Our main mouthpiece and discussion forum has long been the local monthly newspaper The Kangaroo Valley Voice. Our community website is an online extension of the work done by the Kangaroo Valley Voice, now the local news and events that were once only published in the newspaper will be immediately accessible to the community. Our new website will be a single place where we can all turn to for up-to-date information. ” said Mr. Morgan.
The new Kangaroo Valley community website includes a comprehensive community directory, local news and events, photos, links to the Kangaroo Valley live webcam and a range of other local information.
Mr. Morgan adds, “Our aim is that every part of our diverse community is represented and actively participating in the website, updating their own interests, their own events and their own stories.”
