Everyone's birthday is celebrated in Greenethorpe

You don’t have to worry about anyone forgetting your birthday if you live in the village of Greenethorpe in central-west NSW - the new Greenethorpe community website includes a birthday calendar featuring every resident in the area!

In addition to the Birthday calendar, www.greenethorpe.nsw.au includes a regularly updated news section, events page, community directory and information on local businesses in the area.

According to Lindsay Swadling, website administrator, “We’re hoping to supplement the existing monthly newsletter with the new website, where the news can always be up-to-date.  Hopefully the website will one-day replace the printed newsletter.”

The Greenethorpe Soldiers Memorial Hall Committee applied to manage www.greenethorpe.nsw.au on behalf of their community with intentions to attract more visitors to the area; revitalise the community; maintain and expand current community services and raise the profile of the area.
