Glenlyon launches new site at town 150 years celebration

The Glenlyon community launched their new CGDN on the weekend as part of a series of activities celebrating 150 years since the formation of the old Shire Council.
The events included a display of historical photographs and memorabilia in the town hall, social gatherings and a BBQ and music day at the local reserve.
The new website, a project of the Glenlyon Progress Association features much information about the small Victorian community situated 10 km from Daylesford a popular spot for weekenders who enjoy the local wineries and day-spa resorts.
The site includes local news, community groups, events, directory and history and demographic information.
