Durras North new site captures the history of the area

New community website providing a repository of past and present issues of interest
Durras North launched at www.durrasnorth.nsw.au and "is designed to capture the oral history of the area as well as pre 1930's history when most timber mills operated on the coast." says Karl Lisners from the community website group.
"The nature of our community is that we have less than 20% of households as permanent residents as the majority are beach/ holiday homes owned by people in Canberra, Sydney and Melbourne." adds Karl.
