New online community hub for Drummoyne

30/Aug/2012

Drummoyne's new website aims to be the central information hub for everything you wish to know or want to do in Drummoyne.

The site features Drummoyne's news, events, business and community group listings, maps, photos and local history.  Visitors to the site will also be able to subscribe to special promotional or update emails.

Business and community members, led by Drummoyne Business Chamber and the City of Canada Bay Council, have worked together to develop the site.

Drummoyne, one of Sydney's inner west bayside suburbs, enjoys some of the city's best waterfront views.  It is situated on the peninsula between Iron Cove and Five Dock Bay and surrounded by Sydney Harbour and the Parramatta River.  Drummoyne was named after an early settler's family home in Scotland and means 'flat topped ridge' in Gaelic.
