Denmark, special area with special people now have their new home on the net

17/Apr/2009

The Denmark community, a dynamic small friendly town on the South Coast of Western Australia now on line!

Denmark is the latest community to go live at their CGDN at www.denmark.wa.au and their "recent online photographic competition proved very popular and served well to introduce the community to the site." said Barney Arvidson from the Denmark Telecentre.

"We will shortly have available a multi-user system for any of our local community groups to ‘blog’ about their own news, issues and events, our aim being for the community to view the site as the hub for what’s happening in our area."

"The site generally, and the Home page in particular will be maintained by the Denmark Telecentre, with the focus being local news and information. We provide free traffic to this site from a public wi-fi facility that we operate, in order for tourists and others to easily pick up on local happenings.

We are now racing to provide more content and entertainment.

Hopefully the site will soon more directly reflect the Denmark Community in both content and appearance, as we feel this is a pretty special area, with special people, and we are happy to share that with anyone who cares to drop in. " adds Barney.
