Augusta has a new home on the internet with the launch of it's new website at www.augusta.wa.au

The website showcases local events and community projects in Augusta, and has been designed to promote the desirable lifestyle the region has to offer.

Russell Simpson from the Augusta Telecentre said the ultimate goal of the new community website was to give every business and community group in the Augusta region an online presence.

"We hope to engage the local community as a one stop shop for all local news and events" said Mr Simpson.

"The website offers everything from tourist information to tips on when the best time to see the International Space Station is!  There is even a chance to get involved in a new community radio station."
