Ardrossan is famous as the location of the Stump-jump plough one of SA's first and most important inventions

Situated on the east coast of South Australia's Yorke Peninsula, Ardrossan is a thriving community of about 1100 residents. It is a great mixture of farming, local business, industry and tourism. The prospect of mining development is a both challenge and an opportunity that the community will respond positively to in the near future.




Mike Osborne of the Ardrossan Progress Association says "The idea of having a specific website was encouraged by the CGDN a couple of years ago."
