    Hello fellow auCD Communities. Has anybody set up or thought of setting up a community blog on their site? I am interested in starting one for Mansfield so that community members can have input into the site plus any relevant community issues. Please let me know. Thanks, Paul

    Need to know what you have built your website with (what Software?)

    We use a website package called Joomla which has several extentions for setting up a blog.

    Hi Paul,

    There are a number of different Blog systems available, a good place to review and test some Open Source & PHP/MySQL-based systems is the OpenSourceCMS web site (www.opensourcecms.com). A quick check revealed the top 5 systems in no order are; LifeType, WordPress, Nucleus CMS, Serendipity & Textpattern.

    I suggest you take a look.

    I was wondering how you were going setting up a Blog for your site, I notice you are yusing community Website in a Box, has this caused you any problems in trying to set up a blog or are you having to set up something on another url?
