    Hi, I am the IT director of AUSTCOM of The Bega Valley Network Inc an NFP community group promoting community websites. So far we have sites covering the South East of NSW.
    I spend a lot of time looking at community websites and have noticed that there is little if any cooperation between them. Separatism on the web is an anathema especially for community websites. Imagine the promotional power we could have if we developed reciprocal promotional arrangements. Cross promotion of community groups, local news, and business.
    Imagine the combined resources, and skills of all the community website workers out there.
    So if your involved in community website development join this forum, drop me a line.
    Lets link, share and grow as an online community can and should.

    Hi Greg,
    If you look at the post re Google, there a lot of benefits in linking of every Community site to every other Community site
    each way.

    This a correct and very good way of raising the visibility of all these sites in Google
