Lemon Tree Passage NSW
auCD in conjunction with the Lemon Tree Passage Chamber of Commerce were very pleased to invite Lemon Tree Passage and its surrounding localities to a free information seminar on developing a community website using Community Geographic Domain Name (CGDNs).
The event was held at the Lemon Tree Passage Bowling Club on the 27th July, 2009 and had representatives from community groups in Medowie, Tilligerry, Corlette and other surrounding localities in attendance.
Attendees also had the privilege to hear the experiences of a representative from the Tea Gardens & Hawks Nest community website (www.teagardens.nsw.au & www.hawksnest.nsw.au) on the outcomes of their community site.
The event was an opportunity for community minded people to ask questions, learn more about the initiative and see the real life example of an established CGDN community website.
