auCD, with the support of Gosford City Council invited Gosford and its surrounding localities to come along to a free information seminar on developing a community website using Community Geographic Domain Name (CGDN).
The seminar held at the Green Point Community Centre on the 27th July, 2009 was hailed a great success with community groups form Green Point, Copacabana, St Huberts Island, Kariong and many other localities in attendance.
Representatives from various groups took the opportunity of the seminar to ask questions and also hear the real life example of the experience of Wendoree Park.
A representative form the Wendoree Park Community (www.wendoreepark.nsw.au) also came to speak about his experience in setting up their localities community site with ease. He spoke about the outcomes that have been achieved through the site and how it has strengthened their community.
